Department of Health Christian Network Group
In 2006, Annette Davis took on the leadership of a depleting Christian Workplace Group (CWG) at the Department of Health. In the same year she joined the Christians in Government UK committee as departmental representative.
In 2007 TWUK met with Annette at a steering group meeting in Whitehall where we encouraged her to go for formal recognition of her group. So she asked her employers that the CWG be given Staff Network Group status. This was granted in September 2008.
In December 2008 Dec the group organised a Christmas launch – which was a lot of fun!
To date there are CWGs in 4 of the London Department of Health buildings, and one in Leeds supporting 102 people |
